Did we spend trillions during these cycles?
Posted by David Hazi in Editorials on February 28th, 2009
As you can see, according to this chart, the United States has gone through quite a few periods of expansion and recession. Since this process reoccurs several times, most people would call these cycles normal for the economy. Similar to the inhale and exhale of oxygen we need to live, these inhales and exhales of the economy are most prudent for a healthy economy. Never during any of these exhales, did the government overreact and spend massive percentages of the GDP to try and correct a process that corrects itself. President Obama, was being able to read a chart, not a prerequisite for Harvard Law? or are you just not listening?

Parental consent for art, but not murder

My body my choices? Not when it comes to tattoos…
BALTIMORE, February 26, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Maryland House of Delegates has unanimously approved a proposal to require “parental consent” for tattoos and body piercings done on minors. However, the state still only requires that one parent be notified that a minor is going to have an abortion, with no need for the parent’s consent.
What is socialism?
Posted by David Hazi in General on February 27th, 2009
Socialism is the doctrine that man has no right to exist for his own sake, that his life and his work do not belong to him, but belong to society, that the only justification of his existence is his service to society, and that society may dispose of him in any way it pleases for the sake of whatever it deems to be its own tribal, collective good. –Ayn Rand
The Ten Cannots
Posted by David Hazi in General on February 27th, 2009
1. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
2. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
3. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
4. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
5. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich.
6. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
7. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
8. You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
9. You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative and independence.
10. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

Constitution?

We all know nobody in Congress is reading those 1000 page spending bills. Apparently, none of them have read the Constitution either.

Obama Hood: A New Era of Responsibility
Posted by David Hazi in Editorials on February 27th, 2009
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, you’ve fed him for life. An age old saying that has been ignored for generations. Instead, we are enamored by the steal from the rich and give to the poor philosophy. The only problem is, Robin Hood did not live in a democracy, he lived under a tyrannical monarchy run by King John where the poor where forever stuck in their class as the peon. In America everyone is born with an equal opportunity to either rise or fall between social and income brackets depending on how hard you work as an individual.
Obama Hood has been in office now a little over one month and has already passed several massive spending bills that total over $10 trillion dollars. A little bit of hypocrisy considering on January 6th, 2009 President Obama Hood criticized the outgoing Bush Administration for “irresponsibly” doubling the federal debt.
Earlier this week Obama Hood said his aim was to decrease the deficit from $1.3 trillion to $500 billion. But how exactly does he plan on doing that when he is approaching a $3 trillion budget deficit from this year alone? Today in “A New Era of Respnsibility”on page 114 you can find a $3.552 trillion budget for 2010. Obama may push more proposals to push this spending to $3.94 trillion. The estimated deficit from this budget totals a whopping $1.75 trillion deficit! 350 billion more than he inherited from the Bush Administration, whom he criticized. Not only that, this deficit represents approximately 12.3 percent of the GDP, a number we haven’t seen since the deficit totaled 21.5 percent in 1945 at the end of World War II.
How does Obama Hood plan to pay all of these bills? A few different ways…
According to the budget released, $989 billion in new taxes over the next 10 years, will beginin 2011. With the majority of these taxes placed on INDIVIDUALS! Just what Americans need in the face of a crisis George Soros calls more severe than the Great Depression.
Another way Obama Hood plans on funding this unprecedented spending spree is by continuing to outsource American debt through the use of U.S. Treasuries. According to an article on Bloomberg, the government sold a record $94 billion in notes this week alone. With more auctions on the way this massive borrowing seems to have no end in sight. Some are speculating that due to the borrowing, the government may have trouble paying the money back and the government may actually default on these notes. With China and Japan balking at the idea of taking on more American debt due to their own economic woes, who is going to continue to buy these notes?
Has anyone been connecting these dots? I am not a mathematician, but it is obvious the outgoing cash is a lot greater than the incoming cash. Not only this, the cash that has been coming in is drying up. Is it possible the federal government is going to be officially bankrupt?
Obama Hood is not taking from the rich and giving to the poor, he is taking from everyone and making the money disappear into thin air. Not only will hard working entrepreneurs be destroyed by these plans, the government is going to be bankrupt and will not even be able to fund the programs that are supposed to help those “in need.”
You can give a man a fish, you can teach him how to fish, but what happens when there are no more fish?

Today I chuckled to myself as I watched this headline drift across the screen: BREAKING NEWS: Obama to speak today about fiscal responsibility. Wasn’t this the guy who just spent $800 billion?

Welcome to The Final Prayer!
Posted by David Hazi in General on February 23rd, 2009
I would personally like to welcome and thank everyone for coming to The Final Prayer. Here we are committed to preserving self-evident truths, liberties, and freedoms. Recently, I have come to the conclusion that America is already lost and those who believe in the principles of our Founding Fathers, need to begin the Second American Revolution(Not all revolutions are armed, remember the pen is mightier than the sword.)
Who will answer America’s final prayer?
