Obama Positioning For Backdoor Gun Control

Obama is using the oft-disproved contention that “90% of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States” as the stated basis of his support for the international treaty he is promoting. The treaty is formally known as the Inter-American Convention Against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials (CIFTA) treaty. The Bill Clinton administration signed the treaty back in 1997, but the U.S. Senate has never ratified the treaty. Obama intends to change that.

To date, 33 nations in the western hemisphere have signed the treaty. The U.S. is one of four nations that have yet to ratify it. According to one senior Obama administration official, passing the treaty is a “high priority” for the President.

If ratified, the treaty would require the United States to adopt “strict licensing requirements, mark firearms when they are made and imported to make them easier to trace, and establish a process for sharing information between national law enforcement agencies investigating [gun] smuggling.”

Stress tests are a sham

It is still my prevailing belief that the key to our future as a world superpower, is a reform of our financial system. The Federal Reserve has set us back for far too long now and threatens our own existence and sovereignty. Our Founders warned us about a central bank, now is the last chance to listen.

From George Washington’s Blog:

PhD economist Nouriel Roubini says that the stress tests are a sham:

Stress Testing the Stress Test Scenarios: Actual Macro Data Are Already Worse than the More Adverse Scenario for 2009 in the Stress Tests. So the Stress Tests Fail the Basic Criterion of Reality Check Even Before They Are Concluded

The spin machine about the banks’ stress test is already in full motion; some banking regulators have already leaked to the New York Times the spin that all 19 banks who are subject to the stress test will pass it, i.e. none of them will fail it.

But if you look at the actual data today macro data for Q1 on the three variables used in the stress tests – growth rate, unemployment rate, and home price depreciation – are already worse than those in FDIC baseline scenario for 2009 AND even worse than those for the more adverse stressed scenario for 2009. Thus, the stress test results are meaningless as actual data are already running worse than the worst case scenario…

In other terms, the results of the stress test – even before they are published – are not worth the paper they are written on as they make assumptions on the economy that are much more optimistic –even in the worst scenarios that the FDIC has designed – than the actual figures for Q1 of 2009.

Roubini joins FDIC chief Sheila Bair, Nobel economist Paul Krugman, former senior S&L regulator William Black, and many others in calling the “stress tests” a sham.

HR 1207 – Federal Reserve Transparency Act

According to the Campaign for Liberty website:

I have some tremendous news to report: as of 3:00 pm ET today, H.R. 1207 has 88 cosponsors! That is 33 new cosponsors this week!!
And, there are even more to come.

I have been up on Capitol Hill all week meeting with congressional staff, and the reception has been unbelievable.  In additional to those who got on today, I have received several additional commitments from members to cosponsor the bill in the coming days.  And, I have five more appointments tomorrow.  Between our Hill lobbying, the work of Dr. Paul’s congressional staff and the work of all of the tremendous grassroots activists in our movement, we are making progress unthinkable a few years ago.

We can win. We can pass H.R. 1207 this year, and finally audit the Federal Reserve.  We still have a long way to go, and a lot of hard work to do, but if we stick together and work hard, we can do it.

I am so proud to be a part of this effort. Please keep it up, and thanks for all you do.

You can also track the bill here: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1207

Obama creates Neo-Hitler Youth, Part 2

I an earlier article, I expressed concern about the increase of funding to AmeriCorps, a group that targets young people to get involved in community organization. Now, I am writing to express concern about “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education” (GIVE). In the following article, you can see how Obama is slowly creating a neo-Hitler Youth program, or what we would call today, The Obama Youth.

Encouraging Americans, especially young Americans, to become involved within the community is a great thing. Forcing people into a government run program, is wrong. We only have to look towards the media, to understand how much propaganda a person, company, or politician tries to spit out. It is not outrageous to believe that a forced government program would not indoctrinate that group of young people. It has been done in the past and I’m sure we are all familiar with that little saying about how history repeats itself.

Besides, anything the government FORCES you to do, is a form of slavery. I believe the Thirteenth Amendment put a stop to that many years ago. “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” And it also violates the First Amendment which states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

Is this the change you really voted for? President Obama has only been in office for two months. Now we have HR 1388. The Bill was sponsored by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) with 37 others. The Bill was introduced to the floor of the House of Representatives where both Republicans and Democrats voted 321-105 in favor. Next it goes to the Senate for a vote and then on to President Obama.

This bill’s title is called “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education” (GIVE). It forms what some are calling “Obama’s Youth Brigade.” Obama’s plan is require anyone receiving school loans and others to serve at least three months as part of the brigade. His goal is one million youth! This has serious Nazi Germany overtones to it.

The Bill would forbid any student in the brigade to participate in “engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.” That means no church attendance or witnessing.

Again, is this what America voted for? Here is part of the HR1388 Bill’s wording:

SEC. 1304. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

Section 125 (42 U.S.C. 12575) is amended to read as follows:

SEC. 125. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

(a) Prohibited Activities- A participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle may not engage in the following activities:

(1) Attempting to influence legislation.

(2) Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.

(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.

Why Republicans Can Never Reduce Government

Most Americans do not understand it, but the major cause of explosive government spending is our use of progressive tax rates to redistribute wealth. This is because the progressive income tax permits large constituencies of voters to pay zero taxes and equally large constituencies to pay next to zero taxes.

As we see in the chart below, IRS statistics show that the upper 50% of income earners in the U.S. pay 96.03% of all taxes, while the lower 50% of income earners pay 3.97% of the tax load. The bottom 25% of income earners pay zero taxes. Thus, a progressive income tax spawns a “something for nothing” voter mindset that dominates all elections. [From the Internal Revenue Service, Statistics of Income Division, September 2002.]

Second Amendment upheld!

It sure is really nice to see rulings upholding the rights of the citizens.

A federal appeals court ruled Monday that private citizens can challenge state and local gun laws by invoking the constitutional right to bear arms – the first such ruling in the nation – but upheld a ban on firearms at gun shows at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton.

The ruling by the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco followed last year’s landmark Supreme Court decision that the Constitution’s Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to possess guns for self-defense.

Obama creates Neo-Hitler Youth

WASHINGTON (AP) – Calling on Americans to volunteer, President Barack Obama signed a $5.7 billion national service bill Tuesday that triples the size of the AmeriCorps service program over the next eight years and expands ways for students to earn money for college.

“We need your service, right now, in this moment in history. … I’m asking you to stand up and play your part,” said Obama, a former community organizer in Chicago. “I’m asking you to help change history’s course.”

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20090421/D97N3IB86.html

On the surface this seems like a harmless plan to allow young people to get involved with their communities. At it’s core, AmeriCorps, is basically another version of the Hitler Youth. Right now the program is just voluntary, but do not be surprised if the Obama administration tries to make such service mandatory. Certain members of the administration have already come out and stated they would like to make such a program compulsory.

NRA: WH pushing to reinstate gun ban

A top National Rifle Association official said the Obama administration is using the increased publicity surrounding drug cartels in Mexico as an opportunity to push for reinstating the ban on semi-assault weapons.

“They’re trying to piggyback this whole phony issue on the back of the tragedy in Mexico,” said Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the gun-rights group, on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

Grand Jury recommends: indict Barry Soetoro, a.k.a. Barack Obama

The Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states: “No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on the presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury.”…

…Americans are educated to believe that America has three branches of government: The Judicial, The Legislative and the Executive and that is they who decide our lives. This also is false. There is a Constitutional force which has power, authority, and dominance over those three branches…

…The Grand Jury is a constitutional fixture in its own right. The Grand Jury is not a tool of government to use against its citizens…

CNN anti-tea party

A CNN reporter calls tea parties anti-government and anti-CNN.

Well lady, lets get some things straight first. A $400 rebate for having a kid, is not that much money these days. After gas tax, income tax, property tax, sales tax, indirect tax, and many other taxes, a very large percentage of your income goes to the goverment. If we reduced all these insane taxes, that gentleman would have a lot more than $400 extra in his pocket.

Yes, Illinois is getting $50 billion in “stimulus” money. Illinois gets that money from the Federal government, but where does the Federal government get the money? It comes from the pockets and pay checks of every single American. That is called wealth distribution, or in laymens terms, a form of socialism. A lot of states are upset about this, because their residents are being forced to pay outrageous amounts of taxes to other states. If you live in a state like Texas, whose government is actually not having that many problems economically, you should be outraged.

Is this anti-government? No. Nobody is calling for anarchy. However, a lot of Americans are indeed upset about the SIZE of the government. The Founding Fathers did not even want a central government. They began with the Articles of Confederation, which placed almost all power in the hands of the states. They were having a few problems and decided to slightly revise the Articles, and they wrote the Constitution.

The Constitution is still an anti-central government document. It actually awards very limited powers to the three branches of federal government. The 10th amendment clarifies this, and states that the rest of the powers not specified by the Constitution are reserved to the right of the state.

Americans only want to return to the original intent of the Founders. We want freedom. Freedom essentially means, freedom to live within the Rule of Law however you so please. Not a life dictated by the government. This is apparently an idea CNN and it’s reporters do not seem to comprehend. This is reflectant in their ratings. Most people are sick and tired of being fed garbage. And when you go into a crowd of protestors and start yelling at them, they are probably going to start yelling back at you. Very unprofessional.

Anti-CNN, possibly. Anti-government, definately not.

Military veterans are…threats?

WASHINGTON – A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed “right-wing extremists” concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats.

The report, titled “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” dated April 7, states that “threats from white supremacist and violent anti-government groups during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts.”

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=94803

Do I own a Gadsen Flag? Check (and I have one tattooed on my arm)

Am I a US military veteran? Check

Am I concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty ? Check, check, check, check, and check

Hmmmm…apparently I fit every single criteria to be considered either A. A domestic terrorist, B. A militia member, C. A threat to America. Oh and I run a website that calls for an ideological Second American Revolution. I’m surprised they haven’t whisked me away in the middle of the night. Surely, I am in for it now.

No! I am neither a terrorist, nor a militia member, nor a threat to America. I am a patriot who has faithfully served my country. I believe in the rich history of this country. I believe in the words of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Paine, and the rest of the Founding Fathers and great American heroes who have blessed this great nation.

I believe in democracy, freedom, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I do not believe in tyranny. I do not believe in the theft from one man’s pockets to give to another. You may call me uncompassionate, but I say YOU Mr. Obama, are the uncompassionate one. This is America, each person has the opportunity to rise far beyond the social class he or she was born into. Mr. Obama, you of all people should realize this, being the first American president, of a race who was forced to drink from separate drinking fountains less than 50 years ago. The wealthy and successful in this country are more often than not, people who labored to get to where they are. They put in the years to get higher education, they worked multiple jobs, they worked overtime, they poured out blood, sweat, and tears, and sacrificed. Yet, you still want to steal from them and say its for the betterment of this country.

Peace, love, and charity are the messages we should be telling people instead. I believe each individual should be moral, ethical, and value driven. The government should not force anyone to be charitable. It should already be apart of who we are as Americans. What ever happened to the concept of hard work? This country was not built by the government or a poltician. It was built by the hands and on the backs of everyday, common people.  That is what makes us, the greatest country and greatest people on the face of this planet we call Earth.

I am not alone in this ideology. Millions of Americans also believe this too. Trust me, none of us are threats to this country. We love this country because it stands for certains things. Who are the real threats to this country? It sure as hell is not the millions of brave Americans who go overseas and have bullets and bombs reigning down on them every single day, to protect a document that many of our political tyrants have never read, much less understood.

This is getting out of control and the rattle snake of 1776 is shaking it’s tail again. It does not attack without being provoked and once attacked, it never backs down. We the people will never back down from tyranny. Freedom will prevail. If the Department of Homeland Security wants to find the real threats to America, they should first start, by looking in the mirror.
