WASHINGTON (AP) – Calling on Americans to volunteer, President Barack Obama signed a $5.7 billion national service bill Tuesday that triples the size of the AmeriCorps service program over the next eight years and expands ways for students to earn money for college.
“We need your service, right now, in this moment in history. … I’m asking you to stand up and play your part,” said Obama, a former community organizer in Chicago. “I’m asking you to help change history’s course.”

On the surface this seems like a harmless plan to allow young people to get involved with their communities. At it’s core, AmeriCorps, is basically another version of the Hitler Youth. Right now the program is just voluntary, but do not be surprised if the Obama administration tries to make such service mandatory. Certain members of the administration have already come out and stated they would like to make such a program compulsory.

Interesting thing out thissite is ther are many folks out there that feel the same way. The current administration is circumventing the system way to much with policy letters and this great Country was not founded to run that way. I truely feel the only way to stop it is to change Congress. Sen Robert Byrd has even told the president to stop going around the Senator's. I think that he ( obama ) is fast tracking his total rise to power while everyone is not watching. It is nothing but smoke and mirrors.

Congress does need to change. Citizens need to get involved in the political process and start taking over their local, state, and federal seats. Unfortunately, most people just don't care enough to do anything other than talk about how bad things are. It is smoke and mirrors, and we are allowing Hitler 2.0 to rise to power. Sadly enough, Hitler 2.0 probably isn't going to be Obama himself, but the guy who replaces him. Obama is just the guy who is laying the foundation.
