The chamber groaned and several Republicans looked at Wilson in disgust. Several members of the House and the Senate blasted Wilson after Obama’s speech.

I could point out what Obama did lie about in his speech, but I am going to take the course Joe Wilson did.

I would like to blast the members of Congress who scorned Wilson. While I respect the civility of the chambers and I know its rude to just blurt things out, it is time to stand up for what is right. Obama is standing in front of the entire country lying to them. Take a look at my post on the health-care analysis if you don’t believe me. Anyone who thinks yelling, “You lie.” is actually worse than lying, is just a flat out idiot.

Obama is on a mission to destroy this country under the auspices of trying to take care of the poor. I am sick and tired of this, quite frankly, bullshit argument. Joe Wilson did what was right. He called a spade a spade. There comes a time when enough is enough and being polite MUST take a backseat to securing the freedom and liberty of our country.

Kudos to you, Joe Wilson, for having the balls to stand up for what is right.

Internet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed this spring when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.

They’re not much happier about a revised version that aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat, have spent months drafting behind closed doors. CNET News has obtained a copy of the 55-page draft of S.773 (excerpt), which still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.

The new version would allow the president to “declare a cybersecurity emergency” relating to “non-governmental” computer networks and do what’s necessary to respond to the threat. Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for “cybersecurity professionals,” and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.

Encouraging Americans, especially young Americans, to become involved within the community is a great thing. Forcing people into a government run program, is wrong. We only have to look towards the media, to understand how much propaganda a person, company, or politician tries to spit out. It is not outrageous to believe that a forced government program would not indoctrinate that group of young people. It has been done in the past and I’m sure we are all familiar with that little saying about how history repeats itself.

Besides, anything the government FORCES you to do, is a form of slavery. I believe the Thirteenth Amendment put a stop to that many years ago. “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” And it also violates the First Amendment which states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

Is this the change you really voted for? President Obama has only been in office for two months. Now we have HR 1388. The Bill was sponsored by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) with 37 others. The Bill was introduced to the floor of the House of Representatives where both Republicans and Democrats voted 321-105 in favor. Next it goes to the Senate for a vote and then on to President Obama.

This bill’s title is called “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education” (GIVE). It forms what some are calling “Obama’s Youth Brigade.” Obama’s plan is require anyone receiving school loans and others to serve at least three months as part of the brigade. His goal is one million youth! This has serious Nazi Germany overtones to it.

The Bill would forbid any student in the brigade to participate in “engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.” That means no church attendance or witnessing.

Again, is this what America voted for? Here is part of the HR1388 Bill’s wording:

SEC. 1304. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

Section 125 (42 U.S.C. 12575) is amended to read as follows:

SEC. 125. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

(a) Prohibited Activities- A participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle may not engage in the following activities:

(1) Attempting to influence legislation.

(2) Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.
…

(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.

On the surface this seems like a harmless plan to allow young people to get involved with their communities. At it’s core, AmeriCorps, is basically another version of the Hitler Youth. Right now the program is just voluntary, but do not be surprised if the Obama administration tries to make such service mandatory. Certain members of the administration have already come out and stated they would like to make such a program compulsory.

…Americans are educated to believe that America has three branches of government: The Judicial, The Legislative and the Executive and that is they who decide our lives. This also is false. There is a Constitutional force which has power, authority, and dominance over those three branches…

…The Grand Jury is a constitutional fixture in its own right. The Grand Jury is not a tool of government to use against its citizens…
